3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hip) will go through a workout at Target Field Friday rather than playing in a rehab game. The Twins have made it clear that they don't intend to rush Buxton through his rehab process, which is likely the intent behind his scheduled workout day. He is slated to play another rehab game and start in the outfield on Saturday. If Buxton is feeling healthy and ready to go, he could be activated ahead of Sunday afternoon's game against the Houston Astros, or the team could wait and have him join the club before their upcoming road trip Monday. Either way, the speedy outfielder is getting closer to giving his fantasy managers a big boost.--Tim Capurso
