Byron Pringle Scores Long Touchdown In Loss
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle caught both of his targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in a Week 2 loss versus the Baltimore Ravens. Pringle's biggest play of the game was a 40-yard touchdown in the third quarter to give the Chiefs a 28-17 lead at the time. Entering his fourth season, Pringle drew plenty of praise this offseason and he came through this evening. Unfortunately for Pringle, the Chiefs have plenty of mouths to feed and that includes wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. With Pringle also competing with wide receivers Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson for playing time, his ceiling moving forward remains limited. Pringle is worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues, but managers should expect him to be a shaky option on a weekly basis. Next up will be a matchup versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.
