Byron Pringle Will Look To Continue Strong Preseason In Week 3
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle will be worth keeping an eye on Week 3's preseason game versus the Minnesota Vikings. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been the teams No. 2 wide receiver throughout training camp, but Pringle has been breathing down his neck. Both Hardman and Pringle look to have the No. 2 and No. 3 spots locked up over Demarcus Robinson, but Friday's game could give one of them the leg up entering the season. Pringle has drawn plenty of praise during training camp and he has caught six of his seven targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in two preseason games. Hardman has drawn nine targets in two preseason games and has hauled in four balls for 39 yards and a touchdown. It should be noted that starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been on the sideline for much of this. Despite that, the battle for the No.2 spot could come down to Friday's contest and if one of Pringle or Hardman stands out, they could earn that spot. Whoever does wind up with the No. 2 spot will be behind wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight Travis Kelce for targets, but could carve out a nice role in one of the best offenses in the league. Those playing DFS for Week 3 of the preseason should consider both receivers.
