6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard completed just 14 of 28 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. Beathard’s touchdown was a short crossing route that wideout Marquise Goodwin raced to the house. Although he didn’t commit any turnovers on Sunday, it’s his second consecutive poor outing. The Niners controlled the game but Beathard’s ineffectiveness likely contributed to the late collapse. Staring at a lost season, it’s uncertain how long it’ll be until the 49ers take a spin on backup quarterback Nick Mullens.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
