6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard hasn’t been a disaster but his carelessness with the football is concerning. In four starts, Beathard has committed 10 turnovers. He faces the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8, who have allowed only eight passing touchdowns on the season. Beathard struggled while being constantly harassed in Week 7 by the Los Angeles Rams, so pass protection will likely dictate his performance. Considering the Cardinal’s bottom-barrel run defense, the 49ers could opt to grind it out on the ground.
