6 years agoAlthough winless in his three starts, San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard has performed adequately piloting the offense. While he’s committed seven turnovers, Beathard is averaging 297 yards and two touchdowns passes per game. He’s also totaled 47 rush yards with another score. The reemergence of receiver Marquise Goodwin further enhances his vertical capacity. The Niners host the undefeated Los Angeles Rams in Week 7, who have struggled defending the pass over the last three weeks. If game script forces the Niners to chase points as predicted, Beathard could experience another high-volume contest.
