C.J. Cron Bothered By Wrist Issue
2 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron's left wrist injury affected him while swinging Monday against the San Diego Padres. He wasn't in the lineup for Tuesday's contest after returning Monday from a two-game absence. The 32-year-old went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, and a sacrifice fly in Monday's loss. He is considered day-to-day, and the Rockies will continue monitoring his wrist injury. Cron is slashing .292/.345/.544 with 20 home runs, 67 RBI, and 49 runs scored across 85 games in 2022. Connor Joe will continue to handle first base duties while Cron is sidelined.
