C.J. Cron Draws Three Walks In Sunday's Loss
4 years agoColorado Rockies' first baseman C.J. Cron went 0-for-1 with three walks in a 6-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. The Rockies couldn't get much going with their bats on Sunday, knocking six hits and scoring just two runs. Cron reached base three times with walks but no one was able to knock him in. The veteran slugger has really been struggling lately, slashing just .152/.263/.242 with no home runs and no RBI over the last 10 games. He hasn't homered since May 4 and has a .248/.359/.401 batting line to go along with five home runs and 18 RBI across 157 at-bats on the season. He hasn't lived up to the nominal hype he received this offseason and is barely roster-worthy in deep mixed leagues at this point.
