C.J. Cron Drives In Colorado's Lone Run
3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a strikeout in a 5-1 loss to the Houston Astros on Wednesday. Cron put the Rockies on the board in the top of the first inning when he smacked an RBI single off Framber Valdez to score Connor Joe. It would be the only run that the Rockies would score and the only hit that Cron would collect. The reigning NL Player of the Week is 11-for-24 over the last seven games while hitting four homers and driving in 17 runs over that span. He's in the midst of a hot streak and should be picked up wherever he was dropped. He has the potential to be a difference-maker down the stretch.
