C.J. Cron Goes Deep In Sunday's Victory
3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron was a big part of the 9-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run off of Julio Urias. Cron is off to a good start thus far, hitting .333 with a .916 OPS. The 32-year-old is starting his second season with the Rockies after a successful 2021. Across 142 games last year, Cron slashed .281/.375/.530, slugged 28 home runs and added 70 runs and 92 RBI. Fantasy managers who drafted Cron will receive good production, considering his ADP of 124. His raw power and home park of Coors Field should help him reach the 30-homer plateau, and an arguably improved lineup around him will likely lead to more runs scored and driven in than a season ago.
