C.J. Cron Goes Deep On Thursday
4 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run, and two runs scored in Thursday's Cactus League game vs. the Los Angeles Angels. Cron's white hot spring continues as Thursday's long ball was his fourth of spring training. He's now slashing .372/.413/.767 with four home runs and seven RBI over 43 at-bats. His ADP has been creeping up since Rockies purchased his contract last week but is still quite low at 261. He will open the season as the team's regular first baseman and is a good bet to smash 25-30 home runs. He could be a liability in batting average and on-base percentage, which makes him a safer option in deeper leagues.
