C.J. Cron Goes Yard In Loss To Milwaukee
3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 7-6 loss to the Brewers on Sunday. Milwaukee jumped out to an early lead in this one, putting up six runs over the first six innings. But Colorado stormed back in the bottom half of the sixth as Yonathan Daza, Trevor Story, Cron, and Josh Fuentes all went deep to tie the game up at 6-6. Cron's blast was a two-run shot and it was his fourth homer in the last seven games. He's had a very solid month of June and is now slashing .271/.371/.475 with nine home runs and 28 RBI over 181 at-bats this season. His recent power surge coupled with his on-base skills make him a fantasy asset in deep mixed leagues.
