6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. This is the second straight game that Cron has missed in a row. It does not sound like Cron is suffering from an injury. It appears the Rays would rather use Jake Bauers and Ji-Man Choi against righty Dylan Bundy. Bauers will bat eighth and play first base, while Choi serves as the DH and bats third on Friday. Choi could be a DFS option, but there is likely better options on Friday's slate.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
