C.J. Uzomah Expected To Play In Super Bowl
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor expects tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) to play in the Super Bowl on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Uzomah sprained his MCL in the AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs and missed all of last week's practices, but he was able to practice on a limited basis on Thursday. He'll likely be listed as questionable on the final injury report on Friday, but Uzomah appears to be on the right side of questionable for the big game this weekend. The 29-year-old caught 13 of 14 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown in the team's first two playoff games, but there's a chance that Uzomah is limited if he's active against the Rams. Drew Sample would benefit from extra snaps if Uzomah's knee limits him.
