C.J. Uzomah Says He's Day-To-Day
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) said he's day-to-day after spraining his MCL in the AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs. "I'm not missing the biggest game of my life," Uzomah said. The 29-year-old missed practice all week, but he will have a chance to play in the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams if he's able to get back onto the practice field this week. If Uzomah doesn't make any progress this week and is inactive or limited on Sunday, Drew Sample would once again have a bigger role in the passing game. In the first two games of the playoffs, Uzomah was a big part of Cincy's passing attack, catching 13 of his 14 targets for 135 yards and one touchdown against the Raiders and Titans.
