3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his injured left knee, per head coach Zac Taylor. He caught two passes for 11 yards while playing through an MCL sprain in the Super Bowl loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The 29-year-old had the best season of his career in 2021, putting up career-highs in catches (49), receiving yards (493), and touchdowns (five) on 63 targets over 16 regular-season games. The pending MRI results will determine if the Bengals' tight end will need knee surgery. Uzomah becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
