2 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Cade Cavalli (finger) will start for Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday. He exited his last start on July 12 due to a blister. The 2020 first-round pick owns a 4.31 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 74:27 K:BB across 71 innings this year. He has pitched well recently, striking out 13 hitters over 10 2/3 scoreless innings. The right-hander is considered one of baseball's top pitching prospects and is expected to get the call to the big leagues soon.
