Cade Cavalli Has Horrendous Debut
2 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Cade Cavalli made his anticipated debut against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday. The right-hander was crushed for seven runs in 4 1/3 innings in the loss. He did strike out six batters, but also walked two and hit three batters. It was his first game, so hopefully it's only up from here. Luckily, Cavalli does have a favorable matchup against the Oakland Athletics in his next start. He could be a possible streaming option in deep leagues for that one. The talent is there, but he does need to work on having better command if he wants to stick around in the big leagues.
