Cade Cavalli Improving In Triple-A
2 years agoWashington Nationals pitching prospect Cade Cavalli went five innings and allowed three hits, no runs, three walks and struck out three in a no-decision for Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday. The right-hander got off to a sluggish start this season, but improved in June with a 4.05 ERA and he has allowed just one unearned run in three starts in the month of July. Cavalli is 4-3 with a 4.03 ERA on the season to go along with 77 strikeouts in 76 innings. One of the Nationals top prospects, Cavalli should get a chance at the big-league level this season, but he remains a better option in dynasty leagues than redraft leagues for the remainder of the season.
