6 years agoThe New York Jets released placekicker Cairo Santos (groin), and he has been replaced on the roster by placekicker Jason Myers. The latter was claimed off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. Santos was unable to kick during training camp due to a nagging groin injury which he suffered late during the 2017 season as a member of the Chicago Bears. Head coach Todd Bowles said that another kicker could potentially be added to the mix, as Myers and Taylor Bertolet are currently the only kickers on the roster. Whomever wins the job isn't worth a fantasy spot at this point.--Daniel Dobish
