4 years agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Cal Petersen takes on the Arizona Coyotes in his 20th start of the season on Monday. He beat the Coyotes in his only previous start in the matchup this term, but the 26-year-old has only seven total wins for the season, despite posting a solid 2.49 goals-against average with a .926 save percentage. The Kings simply don't score enough goals to reward their goalies for good work. They also tend to give up a lot of shots, which makes it even harder for Petersen and Jonathan Quick.
