The 26-year-old has impressed this season, but he boasts a lowly 9-16-4 record ahead of the encounter. Petersen has posted a 2.81 goals-against average with a .915 save percentage. He also played in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Avalanche and has now been defeated in all four meetings with the West Division powerhouse this season.
