3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Cal Quantrill allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out five in six innings of work in a 6-3 loss to the Oakland Athletics Wednesday night. It was a solid night for Quantrill who's only two earned runs were inherited runners that Bryan Shaw allowed to score in the top of the seventh inning. He has now allowed two earned runs or less in each of his previous six starts, lowering his ERA to 3.13. He should be added in any leagues where he may be available and should have a solid matchup next week against the Minnesota Twins.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
