3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Cal Quantrill allowed three earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four in five innings of work in a 5-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins Monday night. Quantrill got into trouble early by allowing a leadoff home run to Max Kepler but managed to settle down somewhat as he allowed two earned runs the rest of the way. This ends a string of six consecutive starts in which he had allowed two earned runs or less. He will look to get back on track in his next start against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
