4 years agoColorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar (upper body) won't be in the lineup for Saturday's clash with the Coyotes. He looked fine and played a team-high 26:54 in Friday's 3-2 victory over Arizona but is now listed as day-to-day. He had just returned from an upper-body injury a week ago. Makar has 14 points through 15 games for the season with 29 shots, 15 hits, and a plus-six rating. He's having a fine year, but injuries have dealt a blow to Makar's fantasy value. Dan Renouf will be his replacement on Saturday and will make his season debut. The 26-year-old is a career AHLer and doesn't have any fantasy relevance.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
