Caleb Ferguson Earns First Career Win Saturday
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Caleb Ferguson earned his first career win in Saturday's 8-3 game against the Mets. Ferguson started the fourth inning after relieving Clayton Kershaw and proceeded to pitch four scoreless innings, allowing three hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The outing was by far his best of the season, although it was his first appearance out of the bullpen. Ferguson is now 1-1 with a 5.52 ERA, 18 strikeouts, and seven walks in 14 2/3 IP. It is unclear whether Ferguson will continue as a starter or work out of the bullpen, but he should only be owned in deeper dynasty leagues at this time regardless.
