4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Caleb Ferguson (elbow) is done for the remainder of the 2020 season and likely most of 2021 as well. Ferguson will undergo the second Tommy John surgery of his career next week in response to the results of his latest MRI on his pitching elbow. Ferguson had developed into a crucial cog of the Dodgers bullpen this season, posting a 2.89 ERA and 1.02 WHIP while amassing 13 strikeouts per nine innings. Still just 24 years old, there is considerable time for Ferguson to return to the mound and come back healthy, although he likely holds no fantasy intrigue until the start of the 2022 year, assuming all goes well on the comeback trail.--Jesse Borek
