6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Caleb Ferguson will be called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start against the Rangers on Tuesday with Kenta Maeda (hip) starting Wednesday, per Dodger Talk's David Vassegh. A disabled list move will be necessary to bring Ferguson up, but no move has been disclosed at this time. Ferguson has posted a 1.38 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 39 innings pitched for Double-A Tulsa and a 2.25 ERA and 1.63 WHIP in eight innings with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season. The Rangers are one of the worst offensive teams in baseball, so Maeda should be started and Ferguson could be a streaming option for fantasy players willing to take a risk on the unproven 21-year-old.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
