Caleb Kilian Continues To Impress In Triple-A
3 years agoChicago Cubs pitching prospect Caleb Kilian continued his impressive season for Triple-A Iowa on Thursday. The right-hander went 5 2/3 innings and allowed six hits, two runs (zero earned), one walk and struck out eight on the evening to improve to 2-0 on the year with a shiny 1.31 ERA in eight starts. One of the pieces acquired for Kris Bryant at last years trade deadline, Kilian has impressed during his time with his new team. With the Cubs in a full rebuild mode and without many starting pitchers in his way at the big-league level, it would be a disappointment if Kilian doesn't get a chance for the Cubs at some point this season. Dynasty managers should consider rostering Kilian and he would be worth a flier in deeper redraft leagues.
