Caleb Kilian Looks Solid Against Cardinals
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Caleb Kilian made his MLB debut on Saturday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. This was a tough task for the 25-year-old against a tough lineup. However, Kilian held his own and looked mostly solid throughout his first career start. He went five innings, three his allowed, three earned runs, and six strikeouts in the no-decision. Before this outing, Kilian held a 2.06 ERA and 41/15 K/BB ratio during his time in Triple-A. Fantasy managers should key their eye on Kilian going forward, assuming the Cubs decide to keep him up at the big league level.
