3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Caleb Smith looked sharp on the mound in a 3-2 loss to the Brewers on Wednesday evening, allowing one run on four hits and four walks while striking out six in six innings of work. Smith has been looking good since joining the rotation this month, as he now has a 2.73 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 27 strikeouts in 26 1/3 innings over five starts. He's looking like a guy that should be rostered in deeper formats and NL-only leagues, and in shallower formats he seems to be a solid streaming option going forward.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
