6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Calvin De Haan (upper body) suffered an upper-body injury in Sunday's 3-1 loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins. "I haven't talked to the trainers yet, but I think he's going home, so it's not good," head coach Rod Brind'Amour said of the injury. It has been a tough season for De Haan, his first in Carolina after signing as a free agent last offseason. He has had some shoulder injuries, and it appears that this might also be the same shoulder he was sidelined with last season. Avoid using him in seasonal fantasy play for the final scoring period just to be on the safe side.--Daniel Dobish
