Calvin Ridley Finds End Zone In Victory

3 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. Ridley saw double-digit targets for the fourth time this year but didn't appear to be on the same page as quarterback Matt Ryan- though the two did connect for a touchdown. After averaging a career-best 15.3 yards per reception last year, the star wideout is now averaging less than a first down per catch, an alarming drop-off. Ridley should still be considered among the league's best wideouts- and is seeing the elite-level volume to turn things around. Perhaps a Week 8 matchup with the Panthers, who allowed 178 yards and 11 catches to Ridley last year, can help him turn things around.--Tim Capurso
