3 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley was inactive on Sunday for personal reasons, but he put out an announcement on Twitter on Sunday afternoon to say that he is going to "step away from football at this time." Ridley added he is going to "focus on [his] mental well-being." It's unclear how long Ridley will be away from the football field, but Russell Gage should see increased usage while Ridley is out, as well as Cordarelle Patterson. As for Ridley, hopefully the time off will help the fourth-year wideout's mental well-being, which is more important than his fantasy football value.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
