4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley (foot) is aiming to return to action this Sunday against the Saints, but head coach Raheem Morris has been non-committal on his status as he continues to rehab a foot ailment. Morris said Friday that the team would wait until at least Saturday to make a call on the star WR, who has missed one game due to injury, but has been practicing in a limited capacity this week. It sounds as if Ridley is able to suit up, he'll be doing so at far less than 100 percent, which makes him a risky proposition when facing a secondary such as New Orleans'. This season, in games where Ridley has seen at least 70 percent of the team's offensive snaps, he has received at least seven targets in each outing. Check back prior to kickoff to get word on Ridley, as the Falcons may take his availability all the way to a pre-game workout.--Jesse Borek
