3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (Achilles) is expected to make his season debut on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, according to sources, but he is expected to have a limited role in Week 18 after tearing his Achilles in July. As long as he doesn't have any setbacks, Akers should have an increased role in the playoffs. "He looks fantastic," said one Rams official this weekend. The 22-year-old could be a real X factor in the postseason if his role grows alongside Sony Michel, who has been excellent as LA's lead back ever since Darrell Henderson Jr. landed on Injured Reserve late in the season. Obviously, Akers can't be trusted in fantasy lineups in Week 18, but he could be a DFS sleeper in the playoffs at what will likely be a very affordable cost.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
