3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Akers missed practice all of last week after he injured his shoulder in the NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers, but the fact that he's back on the field already this week is a good sign that he'll be fine to play in the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 22-year-old has been the team's primary running back over Sony Michel -- 54 carries to Michel's 24 -- despite playing in just one regular season game (Week 18) after tearing his Achilles last summer. Akers is averaging only 2.8 yards per carry in three playoff games, though, and Darrell Henderson Jr. (knee) is expected to return this weekend to make the Rams backfield a three-headed attack.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
