3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (Achilles) will not play in Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was initially listed as questionable for Week 17, but the Rams will be careful with their running back and keep him out for Sunday's game. The 22-year-old continues to work his back from an Achilles tear suffered in mid-July. His next chance to return will be Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers. Sony Michel will lead the Rams backfield with Akers and Darrell Henderson (knee) sidelined. The 26-year-old has played as the Rams lead back, rushing for 423 yards, two touchdowns while catching six passes for 35 yards over his last four games.
