4 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-handed pitcher Cam Bedrosian has been out of the mix since Aug. 3 due to a right adductor strain, and per manager Joe Maddon, Bedrosian is “still not 100 percent,” which leaves him without a timetable for when he could rejoin the club. Bedrosian presumably would be in the conversation for the closer’s role if he was at full strength, having twirled 4 ⅓ innings thus far this year with just one run allowed. The righty has notched a save in each of the last four seasons, so if he is cleared, owners may want to scoop him off the wire. For now, the Angels’ bullpen remains in flux as they have converted just three of nine save chances.--Jesse Borek
