4 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Cam Gallagher (concussion) has been placed on the seven-day concussion injured list, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com. Gallagher landed on the injured list Monday after being hit in the mask by a couple of hard-hit foul balls in Sunday's game. To replace him on the roster, the Royals recalled catcher Sebastian Rivero. Gallagher has appeared in just nine games this season backing up Salvador Perez, and he has not looked impressive in limited time as he is slashing .111/.105/.167.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
