3 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton didn't take many snaps during Sunday's preseason finale with the New York Giants. The fact that Newton only took a few snaps could mean he has the edge for the starting job. On Sunday, he completed 2-of-5 passing attempts for 10 yards and one interception in the win. Fantasy managers shouldn't take much from this game. It was basically for Newton to stay in a flow and get a handful of snaps. Newton played two drives and then wasn't seen from again. The fact he started likely indicates he won the starting job. Although, rookie Mac Jones isn't far behind him, so we'll see how long of a leash Newton gets in New England.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
