4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton looked horrendous during the Week 7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He completed nine of 15 passing attempts for 98 yards and zero touchdowns with three interceptions. He also rushed five times for 19 yards before being benched in the second half. To be fair, Jarrett Stidham didn't look much better since the Pats receivers can't get open. Head coach Bill Belichick confirmed that Newton is the starting quarterback going forward.
