5 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton returned to practice on Friday after getting a routine day off. Though his absence on Thursday raised some eyebrows, the former MVP put any questions regarding his arm strength to rest by firing a deep shot to wide receiver Curtis Samuel during the team’s annual “Fan Fest.” After undergoing a procedure to address the lack of velocity in his throwing arm, Newton looks healthy and could be a solid mid-round steal for those who still have faith in his skills on the field.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
