6 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is a difficult start this week. Newton is not a conventional pocket passer, owing to his dual-threat ability but the Baltimore Ravens have been an elite team against the position so far this season. Going into this weeks game the Ravens have given up an average of 14 points to the position, making them one of the better defenses in the league- bettered by only the Seattle Seahawks. Newton may still save fantasy owners if he is able to continue his success rushing on the ground, but his passing game numbers are likely capped by the elite defense he is matched up against.--Richard King - RotoBaller
