4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton was intercepted by Terrence Brooks for the second consecutive day during practice Thursday. While reports out of Patriots camp are that Newton has continued to impress in his attempt to become the team’s starting signal caller Week 1, it’s noteworthy that the Patriots’ defense also sounds as if it’s rounding into form early on. There is considerable season-long upside appeal for Newton -- particularly in two-QB formats -- who should be given every opportunity as the team’s quarterback.--Jesse Borek
