3 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton started and played with the first team during Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He didn't see a ton of time on the field, but played well with his limited reps. Newton completed 8-of-9 passing attempts for 103 yards without a touchdown or interception. Rookie Mac Jones came in after Newton and played well with the second string players. It's a close battle for the starting quarterback job, but it seems that Newton is currently leading. Although, Jones is right behind him and there's still time for things to change before the regular season begins.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
