2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton went 7-for-13 for 61 yards and one pick along with rushing five times for 42 yards in Sunday's loss to Tampa. Newton struggled in Sunday's game and also split playing time with QB Sam Darnold, who returned from a lengthy absence due to a shoulder injury. Darnold ended up outplaying Newton and it remains unclear who will be the QB for the remaining two games. Regardless, Newton's consistently poor showings in the past few games don't make him a fantasy starter for the rest of 2021.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
