3 years agoThe Washington Football Team activated wide receiver Cam Sims and defensive end Daniel Wise from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Sunday. It's good news for a Washington team decimated by COVID this week, but as NFL Network's Ian Rapoport points out, quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen remain on the COVID list. If neither one of them can return a negative test before Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, recently signed Garrett Gilbert will be forced to start under center. Even with Curtis Samuel (hamstring) unlikely to play this week, Sims will have a very small role in the passing game behind Terry McLaurin, Adam Humphries, DeAndre Carter and rookie Dyami Brown. Sims scored his second touchdown of the year last week, but he should be avoided for fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
