Cam Talbot Picks Up Third Win On The Bounce
7 years agoEdmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot made 32 saves to pick up his third consecutive win in Saturday's tilt against Devan Dubnyk and the Wild. Talbot is enjoying one of his best runs of the year right now, as it's only the third time he's won three or more starts in a row. The current run likely won't last long, though, as the Oilers face a difficult stretch of five straight games against teams in the playoff race. However, he'll enter Tuesday's Battle of Alberta with very strong numbers, having won both starts this year against the Flames with a 1.44 goals-against average, .953 save percentage and one shutout.
