Cameron Brate Week 1 Outlook For Fantasy Football
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate is expected to see an uptick in target share in 2022, with Rob Gronkowski retiring this offseason. Tampa Bay also brought in veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph and drafted Cade Otton in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Tampa Bay's head coach Todd Bowles recently said that the tight end production this year will be made up with the wide receivers and running backs without Gronk in the picture. This is not good news for Brate or any of the other Bucs' tight ends. Brate has a solid matchup in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys defense that is 17th in DVOA against opposing tight ends. With the competition for target share and Bowles' latest comments, Brate is touchdown-dependent TE2 in Week 1.
